26 Letters 1.1

The 26 Letters method was developed by an Adult Literacy volunteer tutor to assist novice readers in quickly mastering alphabet letter shapes and their corresponding sounds. Although originally tailored for adults, 26 Letters features a visually engaging design suitable for learners of all demographics:

• LEARN LETTER SHAPES: Practice writing uppercase and lowercase letters directly on the screen using either your finger or a stylus. Follow the guidance of a moving hand to ensure proper tracing of each letter.
• LEARN LETTERS’ MAIN SOUNDS IN TWO SIMPLE STEPS:
• 1. Acquaint yourself with the names of 26 images cleverly mimicking letter shapes.
  2. Identify the initial sound in each name to unveil the corresponding letter shapes depicted in those very 26 images.
• TEST UNDERSTANDING: Each lesson is accompanied by a test to verify learners' comprehension level before unlocking subsequent lessons.
• PRACTICE WITH EVERYDAY WORDS: Over 150 additional images featuring common words facilitate exercises to distinguish initial, medial, and final sounds. Audio cues are provided along with the images making it particularly beneficial for beginner English speakers learning simple words alongside reading skills.
• VISUALLY-FOCUSED: The inclusion of friendly images, video tutorials, and intuitive icons ensures accessibility and ease of navigation for individuals new to reading.
• FREE & EASY: Completely free of cost and without any advertisements. Simple and enjoyable to utilize.
